COVID-19 UPDATES

Updates as of January 11, 2023

As we all navigate through very difficult times with the current health pandemic, we reach out to each of you to communicate and provide updates on the current status of our skilled nursing facility in regards to COVID 19.

We are following all CDPH updated guidelines in regards to testing including testing all residents and staff.

In our recent round of testing on 1/23/23 and 1/24/23; we had 0 patients or employees test positive.

We currently have zero positive patients in house and no employees in quarantine. We will continue to test employees and staff this Thursday 1/26/23.

We continue to offer and encourage free testing to all visitors making indoor visits and ask them to wear the appropriate PPE during the visit. Please contact Amy Bautista at 818-343-0700 or abautista@lakebalboacare.com to schedule your visit.

Please keep in mind the follow mitigation actions Lake Balboa has implemented to reduce the risk of transmission:

-Appropriate Transmission Based Precautions are implemented (based on latest CDC guidelines).
-COVID 19 Testing conducted based on CDPH guidelines
-Employees with signs and symptoms will be asked to quarantine at home.
-Facility performs appropriate screening of all visitors and staff.
-Rapid PCR and Antigen testing available
-1 month of PPE
